TLDR: i've started reading for real again and it feels amazing
I was a bookworm when i was a kid but completely stopped when i got a pc and a phone. Last year, i got hyperfixated on Good Omens (the show), so i wanted to read the book. Took me months but i finished it. And i got hyperfixated on Neil Gaiman (i'm not gonna talk about the allegations, it's not the topic here), and i got to read part of the Sandman too last year. Anyway, overall i read like 3k pages last year, novels & comics/graphical novel. But a few months ago i got really hyperfixated on a fanfiction i began to read 3 years ago and never caught up. I've been thinking about it for months already and (re) started it, but I've paused it for a few months and only got back to it in the really beginning of this year. Then I started to read more and I've actually managed to read 1k pages already just this month. (Including comics) (Even though actual novels i read are like 400/500 pages, it's already amazing tbh and i need to remember that) I'm also writing this while i just finished reading a full book in 1 setting. (180 pages)
It feels great honestly and i hope it'll continue like that through the full year.
So thank you, hyperfixations.
