took my meds for the first time in a while and it hit me like a truck

Post Body

didn’t have access to my meds since uni started again 2 weeks ago and haven’t been able to concentrate or get any work done since (surprise surprise).

finally got my meds again and took them today after not taking them for a month and a half and i feel awful. huge headache, nausea, and general unwell-ness that has made it impossible to get any work done despite my ability to concentrate being back.

this is so hard. the fact that i have to deal with this while other people can get their work done no problem makes me want to bang my head against a wall. what’s the point of even trying anymore? i either suffer on the meds (until my tolerance builds up again) or suffer without them.

edit: i do not live in the US and the reason for not having my meds was not due to a shortage, it’s because I had to see a new psychiatrist.
