For those who have had an official diagnosis: Did any of you have the issue of motivation (and it’s downstream effects like procrastination, poor habit forming, task initiation) as the only presenting symptom? Or have that as like over 90% of your issues pre-diagnosis?

Post Body

I have a LOT of issues surrounding this one symptom, to the point where it’s severely impacted my life, but barely relate to most other ADHD symptoms. I’m seeing a therapist who seems pretty confident that I likely have ADHD, and I’m working towards trying to schedule with a neuropsychologist or psychiatrist for official diagnosis, and wondered if anyone had a similar presentation.

So many friends and past partners I’ve been with with officially diagnosed ADHD seemed to present pretty differently, but I also know sometimes it’s easy to see certain things as normal and miss certain things, and I know everyone presents a bit differently
