Society:
"Let's design everything so that people with executive functioning issues need medication in order to cope with all the executive functioning demands we place on them!"
Also Society:
"Let's lock the medications behind lots of legal restrictions and red tape, forcing the ADHD people to navigate a maze of bureaucracy, then make, remember, and attend multiple appointments in order to get diagnosed, then make it so they have to remember to pick up their medications every month (as well as take the medication every day). Oh! And we can *also* make them periodically renew the prescription, and require them to go to the Doctor's every 1-3 months, and then -- guys, this is the best part, guys, oh my god -- we'll take away the prescription if they forget! Hahahaha xD"
I swear, the entire process of getting prescribed medication and then getting it once you have it is so *incredibly not* ADHD friendly. It's almost like society is set up to exclude, humiliate, and antagonize people with disabilities and neurological differences... Hm.
