I'm 40m I've been on concerta for about 2 months now and I noticed that my brain feels like it's 20 years younger. I suspect that I have autism but very functional because I've learned to adapt and mask very well because I've worked retail my whole life. About 10 years ago I got Lasik surgery and my vision was 20/15. I've always had good hearing and a good sense of taste and touch. Over time I guess it's been dulled but I wasn't sure that it was due to age or something else. Long story short I ended up on antidepressants and then anti-anxiety and noticed my focus was a little bit better. I been asked my doctor for an assessment for ADHD. After the diagnosis I triedvyvanse but it was too strong for me. I them went on concerta and it's been life changing.
It's amazing how much more you enjoy life when you can pay attention to things that matter. Driving feels safer because I don't assume things and make sure I'm more cautious than others on purpose.
My eyesight feels like it's back to 20/20 or 20/15 again. My hearing has always been good and it annoys me now because it's even better... But my bedroom has thin windows.
My taste buds are cracked out, sour things actually taste sour and have fill vibrance.
I just wish I knew this sooner... Lol
