Sooo I got on Adderal. I recently came to the conclusion that I wanted treatment for ADHD. F/26 I’ve been struggling with disordered eating for as long as I can remember. Mostly I would binge and overeat. Countless hours with many different therapists talking about how I felt/when I felt full/meditations/intuitive eating.
The first meal I had after taking the meds I stopped half way through subconsciously. Literally had a deep “I’m full” sensation I never had once in my life before.
I cried.
I always felt like feeling full was such a difficult concept for me. I always could keep eating. Full was only when my stomach hurt. I would try to identify the feeling but never was quite sure. Always more of I should probably feel full now I’ve eaten x amount of food.
I kinda took this as appetite suppression and hoped it would continue but was doubtful.
Been 2 weeks now and I feel insanely good. I still can feel full.
I’m so curious if others have felt this!
