Post Body

Combined severe ADHD and I've always found this time of year pretty overwhelming for as long as I can remember but since having kids etc it's reached new peak levels. The constant endless jobs, over stimulating activity and just constant Christmasness I find very difficult at points.

My wife appears to deeply enjoy giving presents to, from where I'm sat, half the world and their dog. What I find particularly difficult is she then complains about how difficult and time consuming it is. I have almost no empathy for this as in my black and white view just don't give them, something which she (like her view to me) just simply doesnt see. Does anyone else in general feel like this? I have no issue with giving presents but to a limited number, particularly my wife, kids and immediate family members. Giving presents to people because they give to us and as a way of "showing our appreciation" just doesn't compute me with me.

Vent over but curious to others view.
