I have been taking adhd medications for 7 years. Vyvanse 40mg (ticks were horrible) then focalin 20mg-40mg (way too anxious and jittery), then now Concerta (54mg then 72mg). Concerta is an anomaly, I feel no anxiety but after it wears off I feel like my brain is blank.
When it wears off, I cannot even focus on a conversation or anything. Itโs like my mind is just dead. I want my meds to be effective without anxiety or jitters. I would love for my medication to last throughout the day as well.
I believe that since I was on such a higher dose of focalin (much more potent), my baseline is all out of wack. I donโt know. Been on Concerta just over a month.
Any recommendations for me? Other people who have taken Concerta, does this go away?
