I'm feeling pretty anxious because I get my ADHD/ASD test results next Tuesday. I'm kind of scared I will get NO answers and be stuck feeling like this forever. I've been feeling like I cannot function and get anything done. I feel tired all of the time. My brain is constantly darting in all directions. I suffered from an assault/mugging in 2020 and that made all my symptoms worse. I know PTSD can look a lot like ADHD too but I have had most symptoms of hyperactivity my whole life.
One thing that is making me nervous is I feel like I couldn't even answer most of the questions in the assessment. For example, after the intake (before being referred to the test), she asked me all these questions and I couldn't even assess if I DO those behaviors or not. Then a few days later, when thinking about the questions, I was like - Oh! I DO do this or that behavior. Did anyone else have a similar experience during their assessment? I'm just hoping the answer isn't, "Sorry! We can't help you."
