A few weeks ago, after procrastinating for months, I finally approached my PCP about my concerns about ADHD.
I then completed an evaluation by a clinical psychologist, met the criteria for diagnosis, and saw a psychiatrist. He prescribed me Strattera last week. It made me feel awful. I know, it can take up to two months to work. How the hell are you supposed to make it two days—let alone two MONTHS—on that? Everyone’s different. But for me it made me so tired and sick feeling. I was in bed all day and called off on Monday.
Anyway, I scheduled another appointment with him tomorrow and I want to tell him that I’d like to try a stimulant. Will that make me look like an addict? I have such imposter syndrome.
