I'm pretty on top of my college assignments. I'm an ESCI major, so I do have a lot of writing assignments and I never get bad grades on them. However, for some reason, I have little motivation to complete these long assignments until after the deadline has passed. And, it's not the rushed kind of motivation I get either; I just finally feel like sitting down and getting a good writing session in. This is coupled with the fact that I only truly feel motivated to do work after 7-8 pm. It's not something I'm hellbent on fixing as it's my last year in college and my professors are lenient with me, but could anyone explain why my motivation works like this? Sometimes I beat myself up for it and I feel like it would be easier to cope with if I had a better idea as to why I feel physically incapable of doing these assignments until their deadline has passed
