Repetitive todo list thinking - paralysing

Post Body

Have been struggling a bit sometimes even just with work lists / my daily todo lists which I write for each day and spend time organising each day…

But even when I’m chilling on the couch on a day off it’s almost like I add ‘relaxing’ or ‘gaming’ to this mental todo list and I feel like I need to keep going over it again and again repeatedly so I haven’t missed anything (need for control) If I feel like I go over my list and I’ve missed or forgotten something then it’s unsettling or bothering for me so then I go over the list again… super annoying as then I feel I just get quite anxious and mentally tired and I haven’t even gotten anything done after all of this !!

Any advice or tips much appreciated !!!
