I was diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year and have since tried several medications and have had horrible luck. First I was prescribed Concerta which made me act genuinely insane with severe mood swings and suicidal thoughts. So then I switched to Adderall and it hasn’t done anything to help my ADHD whatsoever. If anything, I feel more tired after taking it? (This has happened with several doses). I recently switched to Vyvanse and it has been working great but I can’t afford it even with insurance. (I basically got two weeks worth as a trial run and to hopefully get me through finals but there’s no way I could afford a regular supply.) My insurance basically told me they won’t cover it if there’s a cheaper option available. Even if said cheaper option (Adderall) did not work. Help?? (All meds listed were generic, I just don’t feel like trying to spell that out)
