Hey!
I recently was diagnosed with ADHD (at the late age of 22). Even though, before, I didn't suffer a lot due to my rather high IQ, after starting taking meds, my life took a very good turn - everything is easier, getting out of bed is no longer a hustle, and I can focus much better.
That's why I started "proselytising" my friends, whom I suspect might have ADHD. I know that I'm probably annoying them by sending the research articles abt it/sending them CAARS (Conner's Adult ADHD Rating Scales) tests and convincing them to try the diagnosis themselves.
I do it mostly because I want them to experience a similar quality of life increase as I did.
Or maybe I'm too passionate about ADHD in general... How ironic...
So here are my questions? Is anyone in a similar boat? Should I stop doing so?
How do I convince a friend that I'm 100% sure that she has ADHD but for some reason, she doesn't want to get checked?..
