I have known since the moment I met my wife that she has ADD. She can talk for 45 minutes straight about 100 different subjects and 10 seconds later completely forget what she was talking about. She is also extremely OCD about things being neat and organized. And God forbid we talk or make any kind of plans and they change. She has a total meltdown. But more so I noticed she’s very hyperactive. Her thoughts are all over the place. She cannot seem to relax even when it’s her day off and I tell her please do not do anything around the house. Just watch a movie and relax and she is not able to. Recently I’ve been diagnosed and it was somewhat helpful but lately has not been helping so much but I would fucking kill for her to try even a small amount of Adderall to see if it would make a difference to her, but she absolutely refuses. Even though she takes anxiety medicine, the same as me, and I’m actually not taking my anxiety medicine since I started Adderall. She really likes to drink her wine and that’s a big issue. I’m not sure if that affects her decision making on taking any kind of medication but we both recently lost her job she has no reason to worry about a drug test or to be scared of a small amount of something. She’s never tried when, she trust me with everything else in her life and I tried to tell her that you don’t have ADD you were going to feel great and maybe if you have ADD you’re going to feel great because you’re gonna feel normal like you are supposed to feel. Does anybody think I should keep trying, maybe give her some research or some videos? Or should I just leave well enough alone with her being obviously ADHD constantly
