Should I medicate again?

Post Body

Ive been diagnosed with ADHD since I was a child, and for a few months I did meds. I don't remember why I stopped, I think I just got tired of it and thought meds were useless, so why keep using them?

Today I am 30 years old and I have a great deal of trouble getting things done. For example, my girlfriend is mad at me because "I have very good intentions when I start something but then I never finish". I also can never stick to fruitful routines like exercise or a stable job.

I don't know if meds would help, I am very undisciplined and immature despite my age and It's starting to affect me more now that I'm becoming aware; my girlfriend helps me to realize it, and I'm afraid of the moment she may get tired of me.

I want a change, and I don't know if the ADHD meds I used to take (I don't even remember the name) would help.

What do you think?
