Hello, I took a pretty high dose of adderall XR dexedrine for about 7 years, stopped taking meds entirely for about 4, now I’ve started 20mg vyvanse. I took it a few times before but at more like 50mg.
I’m always forgetful, but I feel like I may be even more forgetful now. Various things like walking into the grocery store and forgetting a cart, also forgetting obligations and missing them, or doing routine things at work and forgetting small tasks within them. I feel like I might be zoning out even more than before. I do feel like I can focus a tiny bit better and feel a tiny bit more motivated to do things.
Would taking vyvanse at too low of a dose cause zoning out and being forgetful, more than usual? Or shouldn’t it at least make those things a bit better? Or maybe I’m just noticing more things that I’m forgetting?
I read somewhere that meds don’t help with certain things, like forgetfulness and organization. Not sure if that’s true.
TL;DR: low dose of vyvanse is possibly making me more forgetful and zone out more often, wondering if it could be that the too-low dose is causing these problems.
