Do you feel it is good to still seek out stimulation anyway? Like say in a productive way? What are your thoughts?

Do you feel that is ever a good idea to seek out stimulation anyway or can it worsen any symptoms or that of well being? If so how have you gone with seeking out stimulation in a positive or way? Such as with creative arts or activism or other methods?
I ask because it feels inevitable that my brain will crave stimulation and I wonder if I should so far just relent give it that but at least steer towards more relevant things.
