I’m retaking a year of university because of ADHD. Well partly because of ADHD, I guess. But fuck is university hard when you have ADHD.
The content itself isn’t even that difficult. It’s honestly well within my grasp. I’m also super interested in the content. Which is even more bewildering because I thought ADHD was supposed to make me hyperfocus on stuff I find interesting. Instead I’ll hyperfocus on some random shit like the Bolshevik revolution because it’s more novel instead of MY OWN FUCKING DEGREE!!
I just can’t comit to regularly studying. And I study a STEM subject so it’s not exactly as if I can cram all the time like I did before university.
Even if I go to the library or something. An hour or two later and I’m already bored and wanna move around. But if I go home I just get distracted by whatever’s in my room.
Any tips? I legit find it impossible to set a time for myself to sit down and study.
