How could asthma as an infant cause lifelong ADHD?

Post Body
I’d like to know the biology and psychology behind the relationship between these two if someone has an in depth understanding. I had severe asthma until around 2-3 years old, after that it either went away or I adapted to the condition as I grew up.
I’ve struggled with ADHD symptoms my whole life, likely for different reasons, but would like to know the relationship between these two factors.
