hi! i’m 18f and finally going thru the process of getting diagnosed/on meds. i’m going to the psychiatrist next wednesday and im worried because i sort of don’t know if ill be on meds. i’m in uni and my adhd is sooo bad. i practically can’t do anything unless it’s urgent. i can’t go to the library, because ill just watch tv there or get up and go home, and throughout my life ive tried everything. i really hope i can get on meds next week so i can improve my uni work, otherwise it might be best for me to drop out and reapply. have any of you gotten on meds the first psychiatrist visit?

ive written out a thing in my notes app about my symptoms now and before i was 12, and a letter from my boyfriend who i live with and my mom. i’ve written everything ive tried (going to another area, putting phone in another room/with my mom, keeping a planner/calendar, planning out my time by the hr) and obviously none of it worked. i’d really appreciate insight as i’m sort of panicked.
