I just want to be able to read a paragraph and retain it without having to read it 3 times. Or write a long sentence without losing my train of thought halfway through. I already work out, I meditate, I’m in therapy, I take antidepressants. I don’t know what else to do or what else to try.
I read all these posts about people taking a stimulant and feeling so much clarity, but this has never happened for me and I’ve tried quite a few of them at varying dosages. Sometimes it makes me wonder if I even have ADHD or if there’s something else going on. Was there a med that anyone has tried that has helped with the brain fog and short-term memory issues?
The frustrating thing is that this all started around senior year of college - before that, I was an A student who loved to read.
