Why all the meds? And how do I know if they are actually helping?

Post Body

Hi guys. 25F here just got diagnosed a few months ago with ADHD. (Previously misdiagnosed Borderline) I don’t know if the whole backstory is needed. My motivation isn’t motivating right now. My psychiatrist has me on Adderall 10mgs 2xs a day(morning, mid-afternoon) started that about 4 months ago. Worked really well. Lately I feel like it isn’t doing much. Anyways off topic bear with me. At night I take seroquel 50mgs and lamictal 100mgs She also prescribed propranolol 10mgs (as needed) (Everything but the adderall I’ve been taken for 8months)

Today she added Wellbutrin 150mgs to take in the morning along with 1 propranolol (no longer as needed) and the 1st adderall.

Is this a normal amount of meds? Do I need all of these? I am insecure about taking meds so that doesn’t help. I feel like I’m going to need a whole suitcase to lug my meds around in.. at this point I’m like take me off of it all.. i don’t even know… can anyone help me understand? Thank you for reading.. even though its a cluster F
