Medication Merry-go-Round
Post Body

Advice or guidance? I've recently been diagnosed ADHD-C and so far, every medication I've tried is a dud.

  • Adderall ER (generic) made me roid-rage and gave headaches. Made me super jittery and trembly, spiked my HR and BP by a LOT.
  • Vyvanse (brand) gave me HORRIBLE headaches to the point of needing to go to the ER. Otherwise, I loved Vyvanse. Also spiked my BP and HR a lot.
  • Concerta (generic) gives mild headaches but does absolutely nothing but remove impulse control. Doesn't bother my BP or HR much.

I'm on a beta-blocker too, which kind of helps, but I'm getting frustrated. What combos/meds really made a difference for you all? Any guidance, as I'm so new to the ADHD world? I'm starting to think I was better off just self-medicating with massive amounts of caffeine.
