I struggle with impulsivity. When I was on Wellbutrin it was well controlled and I was probably the best I’ve ever felt. Side effects became too much and I had to stop taking it.

Currently on 10mg of methylphenidate twice a day and i don’t feel like it’s helping me at all. I feel like I’m unmedicated.

I saw my provider last month and talked to her about it but she said to just try taking it before work at 7am instead of the 8:30am I had been, and said if that doesn’t help then we can go up on dose. I don’t think an increased dose will help. I don’t think methylphenidate works for me and I don’t know how to explain that to her. I don’t like stimulants anyway but she insisted on trying the methylphenidate.
