I feel like I do not read full sentences of anything, or I only skim things, and I have done this for as long as I can remember. I don't think I have read full sentences or paragraphs of anything almost ever, unless they are very, very short (and even then, I sometimes still have problems with this). I used to read many books, and as far as I can remember, it's happened with anything from posts online and books and articles.
How do I stop doing this? I cannot even manage to read any post on Reddit in full unless it is an extremely short post. Also, even if I think I read something almost in full, I don't really know what I read. I reread multiple times over and over and sometimes I understand, and other times I don't, and just give up.
I am on ADHD medication too, and have been for years, and it doesn't seem to help this issue. This is so prevalent in my life I wish I could do something about it because I miss critical information often, near constantly.
