I started taking 10 mg of Adderall XR two weeks ago and it was going pretty well. I had zero side effects, no increased heart rate or BP, made me feel so calm, and actually helped me sleep.
But, I didn't notice that it helped me focus or feel more capable of doing things. If anything it made me feel lazier. I would sit on my phone all day and doom scroll, but it was nice to not feel anxious.
Two days ago I started taking the increased dose at 15mg thinking it wouldn't be too crazy, but I feel absolutely awful. My anxiety is back full force, I'm jittery, stressed, and my tinnitus (which was actually less noticeable before) has increased with a vengeance.
An obvious solution is to go back to the 10mg, but I'm a bit confused on why a 5mg jump has had such a negative effect?
Previously I was on Vyvanse and I tried both 20 and 30mg and both felt awful for me hence me switching to Adderall.
Has anyone else experienced this?
