Hi, I'm wondering if the dose scheme that I've received from my psychiatrist is common.
I take dexamfetamin (5mg) every three hours. I have a very fast metabolism (no other health issues, it's genetic in my case), so after 2 hours, I feel no effect of the medications anymore. I take a new pill after 3 hours with a maximum of 4 a day.
Taking my dose in time and the rebounds in between are hard to manage, especially if I have not slept well. Taking a higher dose has made me go into an extreme freeze at the end of the day, and the after-work freeze that I have at the moment is bad already.
I just don't know what to do. I've tried Concerta, but that send me straight into meltdown (I'm AuDHD) and my psychiatrist says that none of her patients have had good experiences with Vyanse for example.
Does anyone have advice?
