So I was diagnosed with adhd when I was young and have been struggling with it. My mother was very anti medicine for it and put the idea in my head that it would change me as a person. I also have a very high iq (above genius level) and have always loved having the ability to instantly grasp solve and understand things. So here is my question in your experience did Medication make you slower and not be able to understand as easily, if so would did ir have a lasting effect if choosing to stop taking it?
TLDR Did meds make you dumber?
