I had a couple of questions regarding the prescription process for Vyvanse and how it affects me afterwards.
On the prescription process, I wanted to make sure I have what I need. I currently only believe I need my evaluation stating I have ADHD and the recommendation for medication, as well as a pharmacy to send the prescription to (of which I have both) If there's something I'm missing here, please let me know!
On the more important bit, which is how Vyvanse will affect me. I've always been kind of a neurotic person; I have major trouble talking to new people and making friends, and am constantly worried about what people think of me or not doing the correct social cues. I'm also very irritable and can get pretty upset at the slightest arguments (sometimes I get so frustrated with arguments that I start tearing up, then get so frustrated at that tearing up that I start straight up crying). Not to mention my actual ADHD symptoms, like my near inability to actually read more than 5 pages of a book at a time without completely losing focus or needing to pace around and move whenever I'm lost in thought.
I wanted to know if Vyvanse really does fix these issues, and if it could actually benefit me in the ways that people on this subreddit tend to describe. I really hate these aspects of myself, and I'd do anything to get rid of them. How long would it take to actually start seeing real results from Vyvanse?
