Doctor can't increase my dose until I finish my script?
Post Body

Is this normal? I was prescribed 30mg methylphenidate LA. I feel I need a higher dose but my doctor said she can't prescribe a new dose until my 30 day script is done. I completely understand if I have to like turn in the old one or something but I didn't know she wouldn't be able to increase this at all. It's been 2 weeks and it feels like the medication is barely working. It feels ridiculous I can't adjust a new script. Like it doesn't feel unreasonable to do a 2 week lower does to add to this one or something. Has anyone had experience with this?
