Ritalin feels too much like a drug

Post Body
So, I am a former amphetamine addict & that used to be the way I treated my ADHD. I have gotten a diagnosis this year and started on Strattera (which didn’t do anything) and then got switched to IR Ritalin. It really helps me with getting things done BUT it feels like I‘m on speed again and the come down/rebound really gives me terrible anxiety. I basically feel as if I‘ll never find a way out of this. Has anyone experienced similar things and found a solution? 🙏🏻💖
