I asked before, and got almost no response sadly. I feel like its a pretty easy question to answer, so please do share I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am asking people from the country of United States. I have been told that no one will prescribe me mediciation without a nuero pysch test. In order to get a nuero pysch test it costs almost 7k to go outside of insurance, and through insurance its almost half a year wait time. I really do not want to do either option.

Can anyone share a story of getting prescribed mediciation without going through a pysch test? I was told that its almost impossible without one, is this true?
