newly diagnosed 3mos ago. grew up in a conservative religious family with emotional neglect on top of it. reaching mid-30s feeling like Iām not nailing life yet.
having a difficult time coping with the broader context of getting diagnosed the diagnosis, given how both contributed to my (under)development of pretty much every part of my life. Compared to my peers, anyway.
when you were in the thick of getting diagnosed or moving on from the time you took to process your own, what bits of wisdom did you find, receive, or unearth that helped you make peace with it?
