Taking meds on my trip was the best decision I made in years
Post Body

So my ADHD is characterized by being low energy, having executive dysfunction, and being overall kind of slow and losing focus a lot. Last time I traveled abroad, was with my girlfriend's family and I decided to not take my vyvanse with me since I didn't have enough for every day of the trip anyway. So on top of being low energy and lazy in general, I also had the side effects of stopping vyvanse after taking it everyday for a couple of months. I was lethargic, wanted to sleep every second and overall felt really bad for a lot of the trip and wanted to return home already. Last week me and my girlfriend traveled abroad for a trip that is over a month long. This time I decided to take vyvanse with me and even went through the trouble of getting an approval to get more than a month's supply that will serve me on this trip. It was such a good decision. I feel that I finally have energy, I enjoy things more, and overall feel much better. I was never much of a trip-kind of person but taking meds with me allowed me to enjoy much more than I can remember from past trips. I don't constantly feel bored, I don't constantly think about how I wanna go home. It's great.
