Cleaned my room last week, now it’s irritatingly messy and I hate it.

Post Body

My “ADHD superpower” is, being able to hospital-grade sterilize a room and then turn it into a cluttered hellscape that’s fit for neither man or beast. In 3 hours. Just by existing. I’m in my late 30s and I’ve never been able to keep an area organized for longer than the duration of a task. It’s as though I clear out the mental clutter and make space for the activity/project by physically preparing for it but I can’t just keep it that way. I genuinely enjoy a well kept and organized area. The state of the space around me is a direct representation of my state of mind. And its irritating.

Well I’m writing this as I procrastinate because I was in waiting mode until 6pm for the package to arrive so I could replace the radiator in my truck. Cheers!
