I wanted to hear from my fellow ADHD endurers on what sort of resources would have helped through their journey. Obviously medication helps tremendously for many, but for those either diagnosed late in the game or for whatever reason can't take medication, what do you believe would have realistically helped you? Whether it concerned your goals, relationships, school, work, or anything else that really mattered to you; (and assuming medication isn't an option) have you been able to structure your life in a way where your ADHD no longer gets in the way of living the life you want? Sure there may be challenges here or there no matter what, but have you been able to succeed (by your own definition) despite the difficulty ADHD bestows? I was diagnosed very late, and not knowing did numbers on me. As an aging adult, it's hard to find a niche I belong in to thrive. I'm sure y'all understand. I really wish the best for all of you, thanks for taking the time to read all of this!
