Anything wrong taking 50mg Ritalin LA first 30mg at 8am then 20mg around 12-1pm?

I noticed that the meds were wearing out around 1-2pm, so I experimented yesterday&today taking the meds first 30mg at 8am and around 12-1pm I took the rest 20mg. My 50mg Ritalin LAs comes in 20mg and 30mg pills which should be taken together in the morning but I find this new way I might be more functional the whole day. I had no problem falling asleep last night.
