On my current dose am able to make myself start and do things now but I still zone out very frequently while I’m doing these things (lectures etc). Should my meds keep my focused during these things or is this as good as they get?
I was on ritalin for the first 6 years since being diagnosed, tried a few things during that time but they didn’t work as well. My life was a complete mess and I couldn’t do anything, nearly failed out of uni etc etc.
Finally started vyvanse 2 months ago and life has never been better. I’m almost fully on top of uni and I am able to study and stay organised for the most part. It’s been insane and I am loving life so much. However, I still really struggle with zoning out while watching lectures and getting easily distracted while I do these tasks. The effort it takes to start tasks has been mostly fixed but I still struggle to concentrate quite a bit.
Should my meds allow me to focus on work easily or is this as good as it gets?
