I just found out a symptom of ADHD is obsessing over new things constantly.
I've been doing this for years, I think things lasted a lot longer in my teenage years but in my 20s I'm changing how I want to express myself every other day, I pretend to be different characters (I've been doing that since a toddler, I loved dress up) and I constantly change beliefs which I think is the most stressful part because I feel like I switch from being extremely emotionally attached to being Christianity one night, then Buddhism the next, then believing in different deities every other week. Whenever I get the urge to change my style, I'll be on the rush to buy new clothes and stuff to become that character. The next day I would go from being intensely passionate about it to wanting to try something different. Then I end up hoarding and I'm currently in the process of slowly clearing it up day by day.
I'm not diagnosed as ADHD, but this just makes me wonder. There's a lot of symptoms I relate to but this just made me think and I thought I'd post it in case anyone could relate.
