Can you guys maintain (romantic) relationships?

I just came back from a third date, and in the past that was kind of the magic number for things to be cut off. Mostly because I start to find people boring after that. With friends and other non-romance stuff it’s somehow different, but I don’t know why.
There will be a fourth date because I don’t feel like I’m bored at all, but I can’t shake the feeling. Does anyone have a similar experience?
