still struggling while medicated
Post Body

hey all,

i've been back on adderall for about a year now. i take the 15mg IR 2-3x/day (prescribed as 3, but told to skip the third dose if it's getting late to avoid trouble sleeping). it REALLY helped me get through my freshman year in college, but now my sophomore year has started and i just cant seem to lock in. thank god i took days off of work this week or else i'd never get through my assignments, and even then i'm getting an insanely late start on most of them.

it's not even that the meds aren't working. i can focus on literally anything else. saturday i spent way too much time ordering furniture, clearing off the old furniture, posting it on marketplace, and scrolling through pictures of how people set up the same furniture i just bought. i could've been watching one of ten lecture videos, reading the text, discussion posts, literally anything else. it's like i can focus but i can't prioritize.

anyone else struggle with this?? i know i flaired it seeking empathy but advice is more than welcome
