I’m very conscious about trying not to interrupt people or ramble in 1-on-1 conversations. But I find myself doing it much more in group discussions with 4 people because I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get a word in.
I still do it sometimes even though I’m aware because I feel like struggling to remember a passing thought comes out more awkward than a quick apology for interrupting once or twice. Remembering my thoughts is def improved by taking my meds, so that’s one thing I’m already doing. But aside from putting a small notebook and pen in front of me whenever I talk to anyone (yes, this could work for meetings but potentially awkward for hanging out with friends), I’m not sure what else to do.
Also, if I’m focusing on what I wanna say next, I’m sure that I’m not super paying attention to what the other person is saying and that’s just shitty.
