To be clear: I’ve reached out to my doctor with this question and she doesn’t seem overly concerned, but as someone who has also faced medical discrimination because of my weight (not from this particular doctor but still yk anxiety) - I am asking for others experiences.
I started back up on adderall but this time I’m on the xr formula. It’s been amazing for my job and home life and helped with a lot of the issues ADHD has caused for me.
I can’t seem to find a clear answer online, when I look up anything with weight loss and adderall it always comes up with misuse articles about people using it to speed run their weight loss.
So my question would be that if I am 215lbs and was 230ish right before restarting my prescription a month ago, is this a normal amount of weight loss? 15lbs down in a month feels like a lot to me. I’m not unhappy about it, but it seems a little fast. I have a very decreased appetite due to the meds, something that wasn’t too much of an issue on the immediate release version for me. I try to eat when I can, but I also have a very time demanding career and don’t get time to eat a lot during the day, until ’m usually reminded that that’s even an option. I definitely need to get better with quick snacks so if you guys also have some suggestions for that pls drop those too
