I have been prescribed Adderall for a couple of years for ADHD. It has helped me immensely to concentrate and to focus at work. It has very much improved my life and my work product.

I have always suffered from undiagnosed anxiety. I work in an incredibly stressful position. When I get anxious, I sometimes bury my head and procrastinate when confronting a difficult situation at work. This permits issues to fester and get worse. The Adderall has helped me to push through and to get things done. This has helped my anxiety somewhat. With that said, my anxiety still prevents me from tackling difficult projects at times.

This morning, in addition to taking my prescribed Adderall, I took a low dose clonazepam (obtained from a friend). It seems to have helped quite a bit with anxiety.

Based on some limited research, it seems like these two drugs interact well, without complication.

Does anyone else take both drugs? What experience have you had taking both? Does the clonazepam negatively impact the benefits of Adderall?
