I got prescribed bupropion hydrochloride xl at 150mg for depression and ADHD and I feel like I'm already feeling a sense of encouragement to work on a productive day.
I'm not taking anything else (I had a really bad experience with Vyvanse) so I was trying to raw dog life on life's terms with nothing but some caffeine, lots of jogging, and (relatively) healthy home meals. Without any meds, I had some days where I was buzzing almost like I was on Vyvanse, but I had more days where I would get stuck, stew in the anxiousness of having a fatalistic attitude, sleep a lot, or just lie down and do nothing if I wasn't just mindlessly scrolling.
Today, taking my first dose, I'm sorry feeling some kind of surge of motivation, which is odd because I was told (and read) that it wouldn't be until about weeks later that I'd really start to feel a shift in my attitude towards life.
Any ADHDers have a similar experience with this medication? Any insight, sharing of any kind would be appreciated. Thanks!
