Crying - a seemingly simple concept

Post Body

Does any else struggle with crying under "normal socially normal" situations? I have the usual lack of empathy and struggle with empathy on the whole but also crying or at least in a social norm sense.

For example distressing arguments with my wife, death of close friends of family and other classically upsetting events I rarely or never cry at. Which sometimes causes arguments or uncomfortable discussions. However music, films or sometimes even just reading something emotive will have be blubbing like a burst pipe. Which again has caused interesting situations.

Does anyone else have a similar experience? Is this a normal ADHD thing? I'm combined severe and I actually feel medication has made me even more sensitive to non usual triggers. Keen to hear people's experiences.
