Dealing with ADHD Paralysis

Post Body

Hi all, I am 19F and have dealt with ADHD for my entire life. Only recently however, has it become debilitating.

I am currently on holiday from university. Going into this break there were so many things I was excited to do such as learn to knit, paint, sew, watch my favorite movies, read books, etc.

I really DO want to do all of those things but for the life of me I cannot sit down and get one of them done. My brain is going a thousand miles a minute, I canโ€™t focus or find the motivation to actually complete any tasks at all. I feel lazy. I feel anxious because Iโ€™m not doing enough but the thought of doing the things I want to do makes me anxious as well!

What is going on?? Help!
