Please tell me your experiences with these meds. I’m currently on Dexedrine and yeh it’s great I finally do shit. But it’s short acting and I feel like I go from high to low too many times in a day. Also when I take weekends off I realise how exhausted my body is and I just sleep for 36hrs straight. My psych has suggested I try out Ritalin (don’t exactly know why) but I’m hesitant to try it cus it just sounds like another stimulant but shittier (according to reviews I’ve read). We have also discussed strattera, a non stimulant. Please tell me your experiences with any of these especially how they fair in relation to Dex. I’m not too keen on Ritalin but am interested in maybe trying strattera. I think it would be good for a more stable mood. Please also let me know if you found accelerated skin aging or hair loss on Ritalin or strattera. I was on bupropion for a while and it was great but also made me anxious and I was losing hair and I felt like my skin was aging! I feel like I probs look a bit haggered on dex cus I don’t sleep as well but it’s not as bad as bup. Bit worried about long term cardiovascular effects of Dex too. But yeh pls point out if you feel one of these meds or the other have made your skin age faster n stuff like that. Cheers!!!!!! Oh im combo ADHD. Mainly struggle with motivation, consistency, mood & organisation/time management, rumination/overthinking, anxiety. Oh and can u take say Dex and strattera at the same time whilst transitioning over to just strattera? I don’t think I could do my job if I wasn’t on something And I know strattera takes a while to kick in.
