My 6 year old is diagnosed with ADHD and is on methylphenidate for it. It’s not as bad when her medication is active, but she chews on stuff constantly. Blankets, clothes, pencils, toys, you name it. I’ve been told it’s because of the ADHD but I wanted to double check, and ask for advice on what I can give her to chew on that’s safer and less likely to be destroyed. She’s chewed holes in clothes and blankets and those seem to be her favorite things to chew. I’d prefer something small she can take with her whenever.
